多元性別進入政治舞台-台英同志議員論壇

首次台灣與英國同志議員線上論壇來囉！

同婚通過後，大平台持續在國際場合發聲、串聯、與不同國家的夥伴建立合作，除了共同面對全球的反性別運動，也希望可以從政治、公民社會等不同面向努力，將平權推進到社會的各個角落。

本次的論壇我們邀請到台灣與英國的議員，從政治工作者的第一線視角切入，探討同志身分在政治中的角色與影響力、議會中的「性別連線」又能如何影響政策的推動。此外，彩虹平權大平台及英國的性別團體，也將分享對同志參政重要性的觀察、如何與性別友善的政治人物合作，共同推動更包容與平等的社會。

Taiwan and UK LGBTQ+ Legislators’ First Online Forum!
Through cross-border exchange of experiences, we will explore the role and influence of LGBTQ+ identity in politics, and how the “gender alliance” in parliament affects policy advocacy.
In addition to inviting political participation from Taiwan and the UK, this webinar will also provide insights from NGO workers, including Taiwan Equality Campaign and gender groups in the UK .
All speakers will share importance of LGBTQ+ participation in politics, and how to collaborate with gender-friendly politicians to promote a more inclusive and equal society.
All those interested in issues related to LGBTQ+ and political participation are welcome to join!”
