W Taipei is approximately 50 km away from the International Airport of Taoyuan (TPE). Travel to us from the airport takes 45 minutes with TWD$1,400 by taxi, approximately 1.5 hour with TWD$145 by Airbus.
Getting around the city is easy with Taipei MRT- Metro system, both Mandarin and English signs are indicated. W Taipei is located right above the City Hall MRT Station on the blue line. Taipei MRT operates from 6:08~00:08, cost range from TWD$20~TWD$65 depends on the destination.
Or you can always hop into a taxi from anywhere within the city. These yellow cabs in Taiwan operate 24/7, charge from TWD$ 70 onwards.
