Kiko Ipapo, a young Filipino actor with a jaw-dropping figure and charming eyes, quickly gained popularity and made it to many magazine covers. If you googled his name months ago, chances are, you would find little information about him. However, since he announced that he would star in the BL series Happenstance, his name immediately went viral on the Internet. No one can get away the sense of naughtiness in Kiko’s dark eyes... ;)

During the pandemic, Kiko made his debut in Happenstance playing the lead role, Wade. His character visits his grandmother's place during the pandemic, where he discovers a bag of love letters that were written to Luis by a boy named Jose Manuel 50 years ago. Wade is so touched that he writes back to Jose and, somehow, he receives a reply. An unexplainable love across time and space grows between them.

Because of his excellent performance in Happenstance, Kiko gained a lot of attention around the world. Everybody couldn’t help but wonder where this attractive big boy comes from? He revealed in an interview that “before stepping into show business, I was a seminary student, but dropped out of school because of financial pressure.” Later in Oct. 2019, he had a daughter with his girlfriend. In order to give his family a better life, he started his career as an Internet celebrity and actor. The fans then realized that under Kiko's unruly look, there is the gentleness of a loving family.

He also mentioned in the interview “Before filming Happenstance, Jovani and I had never met before. Being nervous was inevitable, but we had great chemistry once the cameras rolled, and the director was quite satisfied with our performance.”

Kiko’s life starting from scratch is a parallel of celebrity career in 2020. His muscled figure and alluring eyes have gained him lots of loyal fans. It took him but 11 months to go from 0 to 140k followers on Instagram. Besides his “bodylicious” physique on Instagram, there are posts of him playing with his daughter, showing a softer side to him.
Almost became a priest, became a father at a young age, played a gay role in his debut series, it seems like Kiko can do anything and do it well. With his unique screen presence and acting chops, he is no doubt a superstar. You will not forget his name: Kiko Ipapo.
